Former Kansas City Mayor Sly James will be at The Turn the Page KC Children’s Lit Fest from 11:00a.m. – 12:30p.m. to autograph copies of Mayor Sly and the Magic Bow Tie: A Kansas City Adventure; a great way to learn history of Kansas City. The book also has a section of things to do and see in Kansas City.
Children’s entertainer and author Jim “Mr. Stinky Feet” Cosgrove will be available from 11:00a.m. – 12:15p.m. to sign copies of Bop Bop Dinosaur and Sullen Sally. Both books are based on songs Jim performs at his events around the country.
Julie Snodgrass has worked in education for over 15 years. She will be signing copies of both of her books - The Search for Your Best Furever Friend: An Animal Alphabet Adventure and Puppies on Parade: Let’s Learn the States. The Search for Your Best Furever Friend shares the important lesson that it is okay to have more than one best friend. Puppies on Parade travels the country with cute puppies sharing interesting facts about each state.
Chris Meggs, author of ‘Twas the Night Before Tipoff: The University of Kansas Jayhawks and Go Chiefs Go! The Championship Season of The Kansas City Chiefs, will sign copies of both books from 11:00a.m. – 2:00p.m. These books celebrate the Kansas City Chiefs and The University of Kansas Jayhawks with stories that are fun and interesting for all ages.
