World Sea Turtle Day is celebrated every year on June 16. The day is used the highlight the dangers sea turtles – and all marine life – face as our oceans become dumping grounds for trash that include plastics and discarded fishing lines and equipment, while teaching us how we can all do our part for ocean conservation.
