Dr. Lee C. Stuart is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist. He has been a Creative Executive with Hallmark Cards, and Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas. A lifelong writer and editor, Lee has created five popular children’s books, including the holiday hit Jingle’s Magic Christmas, Jingle’s Good Deed, and Owen the Bear. He has also co-authored the autobiography of Harlem Globetrotters superstar Meadowlark Lemon. He has a wonderful wife, three functioning adult children, four adorable granddaughters and the world’s cutest dog. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Capella University, a Master of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas, and a Bachelor of Arts from Kansas State University.
Rob Peters is a freelance illustrator living in Topeka, KS. He has a degree in Visual Communications from Judson College in Elgin, Illinois. He has illustrated more than 30 children’s books Including Kansas Jayhawks ABCs and 1-2-3s and Kansas City Chiefs ABCs and 1-2-3s.
